The tartan, acting as a bed for the cross, shows folds that follow the shapes in the knotwork. The silver knotwork ring is placed in a green encrusted setting. The banner has bright, sharp-cut border and engraved lettering. The "Connolly" plate is integrated into the outer green ring, on a light green background with raised type.
